A windy day in Portland

I LOVE windy days. Any windy day, not just the ones in Fall that bring in Halloween.
Today I went to the Belmont District and had breakfast at a place called Pine State Biscuits. It was great! I am not a biscuits and gravy person. I don't even think I've ever had any, it just doesnt look good. But this place was different and I had the shitake gravy over biscuits. It was grand. The place was so comfortable. Small, but friendly. Alive. The place was full of people coming and going and I just overall enjoyed the place. I loved it actually and will go back and I will take people with me.
The Belmont district is lovely. It's business mixed with residential. It's not so busy but it's quirky.
Again, I love Portland.

Sweetlife, that is so sweet!
You know I have to say that this blogging business which I really didn't like at first has me noticing things now. Because I have to take pictures :D AT first I hated it because I was all up in my head, in a rush but to be a pretty blog you have to post decent pics, haha and so it made me slow down and notice things. Now I love it!! And not to say i have a pretty blog, but I am trying to get there!! :)
I have to tell you I love your displays :) THOSE make me happy :)

Girl, your blog is one of the prettiest around. I hate those perfect flowery blogs. Gag. As if that's what life is about...Yours is beautiful, but real, and it is just so...YOU. It's unique. And that ain't nothin' to shake a stick at. :)

sweetlife, thanks so much for the nice words :)
You know I used to be in the stay at home too much rut, but I started making myself go out and now it's not a problem anymore :D
With me it's always about breaking out of my comfort zone, hahaha
