Don't give me diamonds, give me a dusty plastic mouse inna trap!! Oh and I got this suitcase full of old newspapers for 5 bucks. I'm gonna sleep well tonight.

I would totally have gone for the mouse in the mouse trap. Yesterday a friend found a newly dead little pink vermin--maybe squirrel--and saved it to show me, I thought he was saving it FOR me because I like stuff like that...so I scooped it away for safe keeping!

I love flea markets! The last one I went to was in Rome and I bought a wonderful photo of a little girl, surrounded by her toys, looking at her belly. I just couldn't resist buying it.

Cheers

Oh, I so wish they would organize some fleamarkt aroun here anytime soon... In Belgiun I used to go to them all the time, but here in Italy, they're just not 'hot'...

Anyway, I love the old picture you found! Very vintage and a little spooky!

Best wishes,

I've never, EVER been to a flea market, but I've always craved for since a few years ago I read this scary story ... let me tell you about it !

This kid, Charlie if I recall correctly ? He dropped by a flea market to try and find a gift for his dad. Rummaging about, he found a camera.

The camera seemed to be in perfect conditions, so he gave it to his dad for his birthday. It came with film in it, so Charlie when to reveal those pics that afternoon.

At the flea market, Charlie had snapped a picture of a huge vintage mirror. Seconds after, the mirror shattered into pieces.
During the birthday celebration, Charlie's dad snapped a shot of a tree they had in the backyard - it dried in a night. They snapped a shot of the family dog - you can guess what happened to said pup.

When Charlie got the pictures from the camera, he found a bunch of college kids hanging out in an abandoned house. Candles, a black cat and a sacrifice. Then just shadows.

Charlie rushed back home, only to find a note from his parents; they had left to go have a nice day out at some famous park in london, sorry I can't recall the name. Charlie got on his bike and took off.

When he got there and found his parents he saw his dad aiming at his mom and younger brother with the camera and screeched. "Dad, did you take it yet ?!" His dad stared at him and shook his head with a laugh "no, only Ben has used it" he said pointing at the little brother.

"What did you shoot Ben ?!" the kid giggled and pointed across the bridge "London".

I'll get back at you when I remember the author ;]
