I like this game!

So hard to remember ANY of them. They tend to blur into nothingness.

I clearly remember hating MOONSTRUCK because Nicholas Cage had these freaky little bitty baby-sized teeth. He must have got them all capped later because now he has nice teeth. I just recall thinking Cher must be pretty desperate to a want to kiss him. I was only little too so the combination of boy germs AND icky teeth was just too much.

Now this is going to plague me all night as I try to dredge up memories on forgettable films!

Believe it or not Disney's SNOW WHITE.
My aunt took me to see it when I had just turned 5, and the queen changing into the old witch scared the life out of me....those greyt big Marty feldman popping out eyes!!!!! can still relive that moment now.

OOOOOH! A chance to win some of your stuff? I am IN. Let's see, as the mom of 4 kids, I have lots of them running around in my head. Okay, I actually fell asleep in Batman Returns (the one with the Penguin), it was a combination of the darkness of the movie (squint, squint) and the stupid plot. Luckily, my kids woke me up when it was over. Also any of the Pokemon movies - they are like getting a root canal, only less fun.

"Where's Poppa?" comes to mind-- I remember suffering through that movie-- so I'm going with that. I know it's much beloved, but... meh.

Thanks for having the giveaway!

Dumb and Dumber...I must have been with someone while they were watching it because it wouldn't have been a movie I would choose, and now I know why.

Sadly, my least favorite movie is "Where the Wild Things Are." I had high hopes when I entered the theatre. It’s the only movie I’ve walked out on and I don’t know, or care, how it ends. :(

Least Fav? - Artificial Intelligence by Steven Spielberg.
That stupid movie was SO freaking sad! It had No purpose but to Rip your heart out! I almost wanted to write a Hate letter because it was so heartwrecking! It took me FOREVER to get the image of "the little boy robot desperately wishing for love" out of my head!
(I'm mad again just thinking about it!)I mean, I KNOW that people are cruel to kids and animals but I DON'T want to watch it for entertainment! oh, sorry...kinda went on a RANT there...ya, that's my LEAST favorite.

Cindi Myers said...

Oh! Gillian!!!!
I have always LOVED Moonstruck!
I never noticed Nickolas Cage's teeth in it before, probably because I was fascinated by his hairy chest in the wife beater T-shirt...now, I'll probably be looking at his TEETH!
Ahhhh!!!!!
Sigh... it's ok, I'll try to block it out of my mind.

Deborah Guthrie said...

"All the President's Men". Nothing to do with the film, just me not as interested as I should have been and I fell asleep for the first and only time in a theatre and didn't wake until everyone was on the move and I was so confused and embarrassed.
Thanks for this opportunity.

The Wizard of Oz. I first saw it when I was 5 and the monkeys completely freaked me out. They still do. I think it was the color... had the movie been in b&w I don't think it would be so bad. Hate that movie... but loved the book. Usually goes that way I guess.

Wonderful give away. Must join :)

Erm least favourite movie, first one that comes to mind is Titanic. Just could not get into it, despite the whole world *seemingly* loving it...

Meg said...

My least favorite movie would have to be all of the Fast & Furious movies, horrible acting! What's awful is that they are some of my husbands favorite movies!

Bonjour Jane! Bof... My latest least favorite movie has to be 2012! I just can't stand special effect movies that are overloaded with them to the point that you have a tendency to try to figure out how they did it instead of following the story. The story? Oops! No story either... The Pan Labyrinth is another least favorite, not for the story, but for the gratitious violent scene of this guy beating the other one to death... Hate when they mix fairy tale stories with real-life looking children ... It really gives me the creeps ... I would love to win, Jane ! LOVE your creations! Take care, LuLu

I hated THE WATCHMEN. Worst movie of all time hands down...and who wants to watch a big naked blue man anyway?? Just alittle too weird.

I love all your dolls and would love to win your givaway. I esp. like the little tales you tell sometimes when you create a monster. Those are great!

I want to be the winner!!!
My last fav is Inglorious Bastards, from tarantino.

Have a nice day!

cupoftea said...

That would have to be "Making Mr. Right". I can't even stand to hear "So Happy Together" by The Turtles because it was played all during that movie. The story was really dumb and I don't like John Malkovich either so the movie all around sucked. That's just my opinion.

ACreativeDreamer said...

My LEAST favorite..."Cabin Fever"...they tried to be kitchy, they came across as just plain stupid. (My perspective)...it never developed into something worth watching...such a disappointment.

cristina zani said...

... I know that many people will disagree, but my least favourite movie has to be The Matrix. I tried watching it a couple of times, but no matter what I always ended up sleeping after the first 5 minutes.

Thanks for the chance to win some of your awesome work!

One movie I didn’t like was ‘Animal House’. I generally like asinine movies, but for some reason I found this one to be boring and unfunny.

Oh yeah, I love your work!

OH my, oh me oh my, what a giveaway this is!!!!! OK the least favorite movie would be "To Be, or Not to Be"... a horrid Mel Brooks film I saw while in college in the 80's.... could not wait for it to be over, and people were simply walking out.

Anonymous said...

...well, I think that my last favourite movie it's been Julie & Julia: maybe not the masterpiece of the year, but anyway so delectable, funny...you could think of it like a good soufflé: deliciously sweet and airy without the cloying aftertaste... you'll want more, believe me! ;o)

A big hug from Italy,

least favorite would have to be '2001 A Space Odyssey'. it took me several times just to get through that boring piece of crap because it kept putting me to sleep. and i hate how all 'film people' are supposed to go ape shit over it! stanley kubrick is totally overrated.

It's so funny to read everyone's responses. We are all such different animals. Many of the ones listed are ones I LOVED- Wizard of Oz, Batman Returns (Tim Burton), Where the Wild things are,Charlie and the Chocolate factory. But I also hated a lot of the same one others did. We have seriously debated this question in my house for the past couple days and we are NOT in agreement, but "I" think....Old Yeller and the Fox and Hound, those movies along with Bambie totally scared my childhood!!!

Wonderful giveaway!!

My least favorite movie is The Neverending Story 2. I fell in love with the first movie as a child, played it over and over, had it memorized word for word, just entirely awestruck by it. My Mother brought me to the theater to see the second, I had such high expectations. By the first 10 minutes my heart sank, by a half hour I cried and begged to go home. She made me stay hoping I'd like it more by the end. I've resented it ever since. :)

My least favorite movie - anything with Kevin Costner in it. I think he has the emotional range of a turnip. Seriously.
