Junker Jane update

Hello all, hoping everyone is having a great summer so far! I have been quiet online, but my dolls are still alive and well. I have new works and plans on the horizon!
This pic is a shot of the patio of GreenBean Books on Alberta Street in Portland. Such a lovely magical bookstore! Please do check it out if you can. My daughters and I are now huge fans.

Voodoo and books

https://www.etsy.com/listing/187390539/handmade-voodoo-doll-voodoo-doll?ref=shop_home_active_1

I just put a new little dirty voodoo doll in my Etsy shop.
Lately I have started reading again and I can't even believe I went years without! I am always on the lookout for a new book, especially of the supernatural kind. Not that that is a must but its what I usually lean to. Anyhoo, my sister recommended We Have Always Lived In The Castle by Shirley Jackson, so I ordered a copy last night from Amazon. I cannot wait for it to get here! Both covers are great but there is something about the older one that I kinda like better... even though the second newer version is more eye catching.
It's raining like mad here (Portland, Or) All night it poured and the wind was wild, too wild to leave the window cracked. We woke up to a bit of sun and I opened the windows to let some fresh air in....wouldn't you know the dark clouds came back and now it pouring again and I had to run upstairs to shut the windows because the rain is flying in.
Good dark weather for voodoos and reading. And hot tea, which reminds me I need to restock!

Peek into the new Prims issue and Thranduil!

I am so happy and thankful to be in the new Prims magazine issue! It is so full of inspiration from wonderful artists. You can order it online here http://stampington.com/whats-new-coming-soon/Prims-Winter-2014 or find it at Barnes and Noble. That's where I always find all of the Stampington mags without problem. When my dolls come back from Stampington I will be announcing a giveaway of one of the dolls with a complimentary mag! Stay tuned :)
In other news I recently went to see The Hobbit2 (The Desolation of Smaug) at the newly updated (theater seating and sound system) McMenamins Bagdad Theater http://www.mcmenamins.com/219-bagdad-theater-pub-home I just love love The Bagdad and recommend it to anyone visiting Portland.
I loved the movie and hated when it ended because that means we have to wait another year for the next! I love all of the characters but have to say I am in love with the elves especially <3 p="">
