I just love french girls names
I have made two new monster girls, Mignon and Cosette. I made them using a handmade bolero jacket that I purchased at Goodwill years ago. I purposely used the fabrics inside-out because I love the fray and deconstructed look. Old clothes inspire me. A lot of my voodoo type monsters have french names, it started because I was inspired by New Orleans.
These two JunkerJane name thingies are from cards I made the other day. It also reminds me I need to change my header!

The Winner Is.....
We put all of the 9 names into Mr. Scary's head. Mr. Scary is a handmade headvase I got at one of these sales in which you buy a bag for 2 bucks and fill it till it's bursting. Anyway, then we mixed them up and pulled out... Lulu!
Lulu, send me an email with your address and I will send you Voodoo Violet straight away :D

Too Cool Blog
Paintings
I actually made two paintings last night on recycled wood. I have been wanting to add paintings because it is my secret wish to be a folk art painter :) Well, not so secret but it's my ultimate dream....so far :D They are not finished yet but here is a peek. The colors may be a bit more yellow due to the light. I really like to paint on wood and usually I just can't get past a blank canvas ! I love the texture and feel of wood and the challenge of painting on found items. I will be putting them up on etsy when they are finished.

Pirate Antoinette
Pirate Antoinette's boudoir of fading silks and toile reveal the decadence of times past.
I think I never did grow up and all those children's books my mom read to me until I could read myself really do come into play now huh? :D A faded toile boudoir...hee hee... Pirate Cats! I am happy that I can make these things and people relate!
Oh! some of these movies I love myself!! And the others I look forward to watching!

VOODOO GIVEAWAY
It was Voodoo Violet's natural look of innocent befuddlement that earned her top respect among other trickster voodoo boys and girls.
It was because of this that Voodoo Violet always got the riskiest prank jobs.
Voodoo Violet measures approx. 6 1/2 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches wide. She is made from recycled fabrics and buttons.
All you have to do is leave a comment naming a favorite movie. I will toss all of the names in a bowl and have my daughter pick it out... Say....on Sunday...Sunday October 19th at 12:00 pm Pacific time.
That GIVEAWAY
Okay, I didn't forget about that giveaway I mentioned. In fact I am going to post it later and then all you will have to do is leave a comment telling me your favorite movie. I have never done this before so.....I mean it can't be that difficult, right? :D
I haven't actually made it yet and I am still deciding what it should be??
It's been a really nice Fall so far. Lots of changing leaves and crisp air. Still sunny days...
