I know I already posted today, but
I just ADORE these skulls. All by Brian Morris. Man.
I've been tagged by A BIT OF PILLI PILLI and so I am supposed to reveal 7 things about me. I already did this before but ah well. I am gonna do it now with these pics because one of the things I will say about me is that:
1. I have no tattoos but would LOVE to have them all up and down my arms. Mainly skulls. My mom is gonna faint...
2. I get more excited over found junk than jewelry. Ask the hub...
3.I love pork rinds, but rarely eat them. Hahahaha...
4. I won't tell you my fave current song because it's embarrassing.... :D
5. My fave color is green...olivey type green.
6. I hate to cook.
7. I like to chew on coffee beans... with no chocolate.

The School Marm
A new idea and Monster Tuesday
Company was coming. The little monsters were never allowed to hang about the parlour. So when she heard the doorknocker Tuesday crawled under the loveseat dustruffle. The grown-ups always had things to say that could come in handy later...
When I was trying to think of a story for Tuesday the first thing that came to mind were white sofa slipcovers. I could picture her mother brightening up the dark house for summer. Then I thought of the house. Then A room with a View movie. English interiors, tall windows, fields, linens, teacups, roses, visitors...

Mike Brodie AKA Polaroid Kidd
I have known of Mike Brodie for a few years now. He takes amazing photographs and is like a train hopper hobo by choice :D Look him up, I am not good at descriptions. He and friends are like modern day gypsies and I swear, he has no real links or contact info. I've tried or I stink at research. Most of the time his links are crap. I admire them and I wish I had the guts to be like him/them. If you know how to contact them, let me know. I just wanna give them some beer money.
Thanks to the Crockpot...

Happy Memorial Day
Today we took the kids to a local amusement park, The Enchanted Forest. It was fun :)
I'll never be too old for a log ride :D
But while they went into this dragon fighting ride for the tenth time I was looking around and saw that they had this puppets from around the world window. !!!
That was my treasure find of the day. Here are some pics.
I love them all. They are so amazing to me. Especially their wear and tear. It reminds me of this time I wandered away from the house to see this traveling puppet show...I musta been about 4 and I saw this wagon...yeah, wagon in Los Angeles and pushed my baby bro on his bike to see this puppet show. In my mind it was far because I was only 4 and it musta been far enough because I remember my mom was scolding me for wandering off. But there was this puppet show happening and it was magic, of course. Everything is at 4.

Kids should be the ones to work
:D
...the energy.
After hours in the sun and I AM THE ONE to come home drowsy and beat....um....what's wrong here?
And it's funny what people (people you don't know....sales people... grocery checkers, gas attendants....) will let you know during your brief visit....you just have to laugh and relate :D

I love Hippie Buses
To give you a laugh or make you feel better I had to look up the plural of bus. It just didn't look right....buses...it still doesn't but I am just a follower, kinda.
Anyway, I have spotted sooo many great hippie buses but only just recently started photographing them. This is one happy vehicle. Spotted on Alberta Street.
The best Hippie Bus I ever did see was in Grants Pass Oregon. It was.... painted in earth tones and the people from it were so unreal. They looked like a combination of Renaissance times and the Hobbit. I am serious. There was nothing costumey about them. I don't mean to be jokey in any way. I had no camera back then and not the guts either to approach them. I still kick myself for not going up to them to say hello and tell them what magic they were to me.

Found
I was driving the kids to the park and was at a stop and I spied this art on a post. Luckily I had my camera so I shot it from the car. It's just down the street from my house and I wonder if it is to be taken or what?? It gives me the idea to leave nailed voodoos up all over Portland :D It'll take a little disipline, like making the time to make extras but I should do it. I mean, if I saw a surprise voodoo nailed to a pole it would completely thrill me to tears :D But I'll write a TAKE ME note.
K, someone check on me in a few weeks to make sure I'm not just talking to talk.

Primitive
I love my latest dolls, I do, like my own kids, but I feel like I am getting away from junky primitive dirty ratty thready loose ends, which I feel is home.
I feel inspired to make something really raggedy.
But I have a movie to see tonight, but let's hope I can keep that dirty thought :D

Truman and Monster Lucia
Truman is a sweet boy clown. I am not a fan of scary clowns, but a creepier one may be coming for those who are.
And about Monster Lucia....
Monster Lucia had to spend a month with her Aunt. Bored silly describes it all. So when she was given her Aunt's old paperdolls to play with her little monster mind quickly went to work and she gave them all human faces and choreographed a bloodstained melodrama.
