Lazy Days

The snow is melting a bit right now. I guess we're supposed to have a little more snow in a day and then it is on its way out. It's been nice having all this snow but I am ready for it to go away :D Being stuck at home is only fun for so long.

Later I will make pumpkin pies and a few kinds of Christmas cookies.

I hope everyone is safe and happy this Christmas season :)

Unless...

you have the right wheels you can't really get around right now..... so we walked to catch a bus to go to Blockbuster because man, I need some movies and well, the buses are no where to be seen...for a while anyway.....so we walked back home because kids never listen and they got snow in their boots and that equals cold feet... and crying kids or KID....so maybe tomorrow.

Pretty much snowed in....

The hub just went out to.....I am thinking this wasn't such a good idea as I noticed two cars have gotten stuck in the snow outside......let's hope he can make it back! And all for a chicken to roast....:D

I am working on some newbies.....

Merry Sprinkles

The kids are rocking out to The Chipmunk versions of new songs and the cookies are cooling :D

MerryMerry the kids have another snow day and Christmas break starts, too

School was called off for the third time this week! Ahhhh, I was hoping to get some secret shopping done today. Darn. Tomorrow we are supposed to have major snow, so today I really need to get things done! I'm always last minute!

Here's my effort at holiday decoration....I didn't get too much done, but I have this small part of the kitchen decorated somewhat :D

Don't be fooled the lower shelves are a mess with all my packing supplies! One day I will have a practically perfect cottage home. Someday :D

A Haunted Christmas

This what you get when you give the camera to one of the kids and do the driveby christmas lights thing :)
I like em!
Oh!! What to get the kids???? For Christmas? I mean they never really play with the toys they ask for or get. When they do it isn't as the toy is intended! It's always a joke to get the kids cardboard boxes and it's the truth! I went online to look for some cardboard houses, ya know? And it pisses me off that they want 80 some odd bucks for a cardborad house! Come on. It's cardboard, dammit. It's a plain cutout. I can see spending 25.oo on a cardboard house but this business about 80 bucks just makes me so mad! The nerve. Anyway, I had to let that out.
