Sofia

Sofia's papa was the Extraordinary Tattooed Man and her mama was the Beautiful And Exotic Tightrope Walker. Sofia had known magic all of her days and would sometimes paint these scenes in her notebooks.

These are inspiring to me

I love Mississippi Ave. I took all these yesterday.

Mississippi Ave

Man, I tell you, this is my second day of a reallllllly slow computer and it is enough to bring forth the mother of all swear words.
Anyway....
Went to Mississippi Ave. today, I have never been and I loved it! I have never been to the shop Flutter and still haven't really because it was closed....but I got a few shots through the glass. I have to go back!! And next door was another shop named Front Porch which was soooooo cute, too! I love this street. All I am posting tonight are the Flutter pics.
It has been raining all day and even though I love the rain my hair hates it :D

er...Jacinta

...was making monsters last night and I saw this pile of pink wool felt I had bought for rosy cheeks. But somehow the cheeks haven't worked out lately so I thought pink hair! A snow cone pile of pink hair! Yeah! So I made this monster head and hair and then I thought I just couldn't add on skinny legs again and I had this spider sketch handy, so I added spider legs which can be interpreted as sea thingies, He-man arms...I dunno. I love her funky repulsive allure, but next time I will make her truly girly and not so monsterish :D Just cuz that was the orginal vision, haha.
That X isn't a bow, but it looks like one. It's a pirate touch.
So meet Jacinta,he she wrestler prison matron...a helluva girl.

New Monsters

I posted some new monsters on Etsy...man my computer is sooo slow today. I have another monster to show you but it may have to wait.
What would happen if all internet went away??? Man, I shudder to think :D

Happy Mudders Day

Today I took the kids out and I wanted to try this place called Saint Cupcake, so we went. This particular Saint Cupcake only sold them TO GO. They shared a building with a vintage/stationery shop. Saint Cupcake was in the back so we went in and picked out our cupcakes, several small ones. They packed them in these pretty pink boxes and I let the kids hold one each to occupy them while I looked around because they really had a lot of great stuff!! I was even going to buy some notecards but the kids were just not listening, at all, more so than usual...I wasn't looking at them and the next thing you know the damn cupcakes are half out of the boxes! Still in the shop! They musta shook the pretty pink boxes up like snowglobes because they were a mess! Man, I was like, what are you guys doing??? And we left... I managed to get some photos, but not of the notecards :D
