Flutter and Flyers

If you are ever in Portland you must visit the shop Flutter on Mississippi Ave. The displays are enchanting and the wares are curious! Half my pics didn't come out but trust me....

When I find poles posted with so many flyers like this I drool...

For Hahas

We went out and ate Mexican food for lunch and I saw that they had this Lottery Candle there in this shrine and I HAD TO HAVE ONE! Just for fun :D So I bought one, just for hahas. I buy lotto tickets here and there, but I am not seriously lighting the candle for it to work.....but if it wants to then fine with me :D
And instead of cleaning I am taking creepy pics of my litchen because the voodoos look better in the dark. So does my dirty kitchen.

I don't know

if I can express my JOY at finding this score for 2 bucks at a yard sale down the street. I got it from some guy, seems they do stencil art...I got 2 yoda stenciled records and cracked skateboard! This is my heaven! Hahahaha

Better than yours

Today Bianca (4 years old) wanted a vampire to color in so I doodled her a Count Orlok...make it a girl she said...so I added a bow and curls. That makes a girl right? She goes and watercolors it in and comes back and says ,Mine came out better than yours mom.....it sure did! Hahaha.

Street Corner Find

The hub spotted this chair on the corner for free and brought it home!!! Wheeeeeee! I adore the color, age and style!
He said it actually occured to him to NOT bring it home, then thought what the hell was he thinking?!
Good thinking.

Trixie

I don't know about you but every Fall there is a specific moment in which a wind blows in the season. Just like in the book Something Wicked this Way Comes. I don't imagine it, it really happens. Trixie reminds me of that first feeling of Fall...the excitment of the tricks and treats season.

I'm still trying to hang onto summer, but one of these days the Fall magic will take over :)
