October Days

The cold seems to have come early this year. Too early for me, I like indian summers. The rain has stood away though and I think that's most important.  Oregon's winters tend to be very gray and wet so when it starts too early I tend to moan about it.

Happy October 1st!

One of the 3 pumpkins I grew. I thought I would have more, but, ah well. I think they needed more sun. Next year! I also had wanted to plant a ton of ornamental gourds but couldn't find seeds locally.  I will buy them online next time! Happy October 1st all of you October people!
