Primitive

I love my latest dolls, I do, like my own kids, but I feel like I am getting away from junky primitive dirty ratty thready loose ends, which I feel is home.

I feel inspired to make something really raggedy.

But I have a movie to see tonight, but let's hope I can keep that dirty thought :D

I think it's good to have these little 'side trips' creatively. Your work will be stronger for it - besides, we all need vacations! :) All your stuff is fantastic...no worries!

I recently discovered your blog and love it! Your dolls are so adorable and inspiring! At Christmas last year my sister & I made monster dolls for all our great neices & nephews. We bought wool sweaters & felted them in the washer/dryer & cut body parts/eyes/teeth in different colors. They were really cute & the kids loved them. Wish I would of taken some photos to share. Keep up the great work! :) Stacey

I like your new dolls, but now that you've put it out there, I will admit...I've been missing the "ratties," just didn't want to say anything because we all have to go on our creative paths growing and creating new things...but I'm glad you're missing them, too.

Yeah, you gotta take those paths because it all ends up somewhere! Lol.
