One of the kids is watching A Series of Unfortunate Events.... I keep peeking over because I LOVE that movie and Count Olaf is like one of my movie HEROES. I LOVE Jim Carrey as Count Olaf. Can't say enough.
My kids love that movie, I love all of the different characters that Jim Carey can play and still they all seem original. If your kids like that kind of movie, they should watch some of these movies as well: City of Ember, Spiderwick Chronicals or Inkheart. I guess it all depends on how old your children are, mine are 8, 5 and 5 months. My husband and I share the same love of fantasy movies, Labryinth the Never Ending Story, etc...
Our daughter loves Count Olaf too. There's something about over-the-top villains that tickles her fancy. She suggested we name the baby Lord Voldemort...we had to veto that one. :)
Man...Count Olaf was disturbingly attractive in that film! The house was so amazing- I actually rewound it and watched it about 3 times, pausing and zooming and taking caps. I want a house like that!
Nanny McPhee has a great house too, and it's a great movie!

S. @ Kinderscares
If you named a child Lord Voldemort, when it came time for supper, how would you call him?
JJ, do your kids have Coraline? It would seem a natural if they dig Lemony Snicket.
LOL Kinder....I dunno, I LOVE the name MARS....
Jay...they haven't...it is on the list though! :D
