ETSY UPDATE!

I just put some new stuff up on ETSY. :) Lots od colorful and fun stuff. Take a look...I'll update Flickr later....it is noon and I still haven't dressed OMG! Well read about last night...

Kids

Okay tonight (er today) I went to bed at 3:00 am...one of the kids wakes up at 3:30...it is 4:08 now and I am in blogland....oh boy I am going to be hating life tomorrow...er...today. Then the other one wakes up and can't go back to sleep, then they get hungry....

Here is that green chair I bought at a yardsale. The seat is messed up but it was my plan to make a seat cover and hide the mess, except now I notice that the sat really isn't secure at all....hmmm, either make a chair planter out of it (which I hate to do because the chair is rock solid besides the seat) OR have a piece of plywood cut to fit for a new seat. Either way it was a buck! I could not pass it up even though my husband gave me that look, hahaha.

The reason I was up so late is because I have 3 plushies and a pillow finished! Yay for me. So hopefully all goes well with moods tomorrow, er today so I can get them posted on ETSY and Flickr and here :)

Summertime

Well finally, it's beginning to feel like summer here! yay. Yesterday we went to a couple of yard sales and I got some fabric and a chair. I will post pics tomorrow of my stuff. The chair is really cute and green. I made this Summer Kitty today. Later when the kids go to sleep I will try to finish up some projects that have around a while. I haven't been feeling like I've accomplished much lately.

Last year the kids and I painted some pots and with the leftover paint we painted sticks.

Alexandra Monster

Alexandra tends to like winter and the fog it brings. Her maryjanes are usually smudged with mud because she is fond of hiding in hedges. She is quite often caught reading by candlelight despite the danger.

Alexandra is my second ragdoll.

eat sleep, ragdolls

I am on this ragdoll kick now. I think I am going to make a really raggy (not so much stuffing because I like them limpy) one for me and a really cute pink one for one of my littles because she is girly. My older girl isn't into anything indie, which is too bad. It's because I didn't raise her that way, I wasn't creating all the while she was little and now I regret it. Oh well.

I'm posting a couple of photos of two of my creations that live here. Both bunnies, the darker green one is wonky but so soft and has the sweetest face. The olive one looks so fun with all of her different patterns and textures.

Monster Beatrice

Beatrice likes a proper tea, beatles under rocks, and the view from her cherry tree. Like any monster girl Beatrice likes black licorice.

Beatrice is what I am going to call the official JunkerJane Ragdoll. The Official ragdoll being 'monster', of course. Expect to see many of Beatrice's relatives soon.

Beatrice is made partly new fabric. I had bought some new fabric months ago before deciding to go full recycle. Hmm, I can see this being a problem with my rag dolls, maybe...I think I maybe I will have a new fabric section. It's really hard when you are inspired by many things to limit yourself, ya know. On the other hand claiming to be completely recycled is something. Not just because it's a good thing but because it's a challenge. Either way I will always list whether or not new or recycled fabric is used.

Whoa Nellie!

This is what I came up with... I had to change the nose because it didn't look right, but I will try that type of nose next time a different way.
Nellie is accident prone and really needs to be adopted by someone with a watchful eye....
