Images from childhood reading :)

The first one is from James and the Giant Peach, illustrated by Nancy Elkholm Burkert, and actually my mom read that to me when I was about 5. The rest I read later on myself. I just happened upon one of these illustrations online and it made me think of others I had read so I went image hunting :)

NEW Monster Muddle Pie

The Widow's Broom

Years ago I discovered The Mysteries of Harris Burdick by Chris Van Allsburg and since then I have loved his work. These are drawings from The Widow's Broom. I am on my fave illustrators roll :D

It's been too hot to work these last few days. Today won't be so hot so I will get to working on some new stuff later :)
